Trademark Owner: Anxi County Fuqian Shiran Orange Industry Technology Research Association
Fuqian Shiran Orange is produced in Fuqian Farm, located in Fudian Township, Anxi County. With 6,600 acres of orchards, the farm produces 10,000 tons of oranges annually, generating a value of 100 million yuan. The Shiran Orange industry has become a major source of wealth for the township.
Renowned for its large size, vibrant color, tender flesh, sweet taste, juiciness, and storage stability, Fuqian Shiran Orange has become a hallmark product of Fudian. In recent years, Fudian Township has focused on the development of the Shiran Orange industry by organizing events such as the Orange Harvest Festival and the Shiran Orange Culture Festival, further increasing its brand recognition and promoting increased yields and income for local farmers.
Situated at the junction of Quanzhou, Zhangzhou, and Longyan, Fudian is home to the "Fushan" area of the Yunnan Mountain Nature Reserve, often referred to as an ecological gem. The region boasts a high forest coverage rate of 94.6%, earning it the reputation of a "natural oxygen bar." Thanks to its unique climate and rich natural resources, the quality of Fuqian Shiran Oranges is exceptional. The fruit has been selected for national banquets at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse for six consecutive years and has received numerous honors, including the "East China Six Provinces and Cities Quality Citrus Fruit Silver Award" and the "Gold Award for Quality Citrus Fruit at the First Fujian Province Citrus Festival." In 2019, the product was granted a geographical indication certification from the National Intellectual Property Office.
