Located on the eastern side of the Weitou Peninsula, South Jiang Village, once a remote fishing village, has seen transformative growth. In recent years, it has developed the "blue" abalone farming industry, focusing on industrialized aquaculture as the village's leading business. By leveraging resources like the Fu Da Abalone company, the village has introduced over 30 professionals with PhDs and Master’s degrees, significantly boosting its abalone farming industry, which generates an annual output value of 140 million yuan. This development has contributed over 10 million yuan annually from leisure agriculture and rural tourism.
