Zhaomadai: A Key Demonstration Zone for Modern Agricultural Development in Hui'an
The Zhaomadai Modern Agricultural Demonstration Zone in Hui'an County aims to establish itself as a core demonstration area of the National Modern Agricultural Industrial Park, promoting green development and technological innovation in agriculture. On December 9, the first national soil improvement carbon sink transaction was signed, marking a new milestone for the Zhaomadai agricultural development. With its layout of “one corridor, three zones, and multiple nodes,” the region focuses on infrastructure development, land circulation, and the extension of the agricultural industrial chain. It is also promoting the integration of agriculture, technology, and tourism, striving to improve both the yield and quality of rice and vegetables. Additionally, Zhaomadai has introduced a new model of "oyster farming – waste shell utilization – soil improvement – carbon sink trading," contributing to the development of agricultural carbon sinks.
