On the afternoon of November 29th, the third representative assembly of the second session of the Snack Professional Committee of the China Cuisine Association was held at a hotel in Quanzhou, where six local enterprises were added to the committee.
"Snack cuisine is a great art," a national treasure. Chinese snacks have a long history, rich varieties, distinct flavors, and strong traditional cultural characteristics. As the snack industry continues to expand across China, there is an urgent need for a specialized platform to integrate snack resources and guide industry development. The Snack Professional Committee of the China Cuisine Association was created to meet this demand.
This meeting was part of the 2024 "Chinese Food Festival," marking the first China (Quanzhou) Silk Road Snack Festival and International Food Carnival. It reflects deeper cooperation between Quanzhou and the China Cuisine Association and demonstrates Quanzhou's continuous progress in the restaurant industry, strengthening the city's bid to be named a "City of Gastronomy."
