Time: 2025-01-09 09:32

Established in January 2005, the Quanzhou Food Industry Association (QFIA) is committed to fostering industry growth, protecting the rights of its member enterprises, and bridging connections between businesses, government agencies, and research institutions. Recognized as a AAA-rated social organization by the Quanzhou Civil Affairs Bureau for several consecutive years, QFIA has developed a professional, interconnected, and resource-sharing public service platform to support the food industry.

With a membership of over 800 enterprises across the entire food supply chain, QFIA represents leading brands such as Dali, Panpan, Hidodo, Licheng, Huitouke, Ayibo, Youchen, Anji, and Lilv. The association provides a comprehensive range of services, including financial support, food safety initiatives, research and development, production technology, exhibitions, investment facilitation, management training, and marketing strategies. In 2023, QFIA was designated by the Quanzhou Bureau of Industry and Information Technology as a key service hub under Government-Enterprise Direct Access (PEDE) initiative.

QFIA has also established Food Industry Training Bases in collaboration with Quanzhou Normal University, Liming University, Yang-En University, and Quanzhou Light Industry College. These partnerships contribute to talent development through specialized training, guest lectureships, skill enhancement programs, academic advancement, internships, and campus recruitment. Furthermore, QFIA has formed strategic alliances with Quanzhou Bank, Minsheng Bank, and China Merchants Bank, offering diverse, low-interest financial solutions to support business expansion and innovation.

The association is led by Mr. Cai Jincai, who serves as President of QFIA, Deputy to the 14th National People's Congress of China, Vice Chairman of the Fujian Federation of Industry and Commerce, and President of Panpan Food Group.

As Quanzhou pursues its designation as a UNESCO City of Gastronomy, QFIA plays a pivotal role in preserving and promoting the city’s rich culinary heritage, advancing food industry innovation, and fostering international exchange in gastronomy and food culture.
