The Fourth Council Secretary-General Su Mingting delivered a comprehensive review and summary of the association’s achievements. Under the leadership of the fourth council and supervisory board, the association successfully carried out various initiatives and made notable achievements. Over five consecutive years, it organized themed education campaigns for the National Nutrition Week at the municipal and district levels. The association hosted over 100 nutrition and health lectures, advocating for healthy lifestyles and self-health management, reaching more than 20,000 participants citywide.
The association also strengthened its organizational structure, forming a highly professional team of nutrition experts. During the severe COVID-19 outbreaks in Quanzhou in 2020 and 2022, member organizations collectively donated goods and funds exceeding one million yuan. It has been recognized with multiple honors, including a 4A rating in the China Social Organization Evaluation, designation as one of Quanzhou’s first municipal "Food Safety Promotion Bases," and awards such as the "Active Participation Unit in the 2020 National Nutrition Week" and the "Golden Bridge Award" at the China Nutritionist Development Conference and Nutrition & Health Industry Expo.
The meeting reviewed and approved the fourth council's work and financial reports, new charter, membership fee standards, and usage management methods. The fifth council and supervisory board were elected accordingly.
At the first meeting of the Fifth Council, witnessed by all attendees, Lin Haiyun was re-elected as president, and Su Mingting was appointed secretary-general through a collective voting process.
In his acceptance speech, Lin Haiyun highlighted that turning 16 holds significant cultural importance in the Minnan region, symbolizing maturity and readiness for greater accomplishments. Over the past 16 years, the Quanzhou Nutrition and Health Association has grown from its inception to a mature organization, contributing significantly to improving public nutrition and health awareness. Lin expressed confidence that with the collective efforts of all members, the association would continue to thrive in the new era, charting an even brighter future.
