Time: 2025-01-04 15:28

It is often said that had Yongchun’s street food been widely promoted 20 or 30 years ago, it could have achieved national fame, much like Sha County Snacks.

Originally a humble dish enjoyed by local traders and residents of Yongchun County, this hotpot has now evolved into a popular and trendy meal symbolizing warmth and togetherness. The meal revolves around a hotpot filled with broth simmered from bones, surrounded by a variety of ingredients: tofu, radishes, greens, meatballs, chicken rolls, pork, dried bamboo shoots, and tofu skin. Guests are invited to select their preferred ingredients, which are then cooked in the hotpot. Whether the heat is high or low, the ingredients bubble and simmer, releasing an inviting aroma, accompanied by the soothing sound of the broth. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, evoking both comfort and nostalgia. The addition of soy sauce, vinegar, spicy garlic, and especially the signature aged Yongchun vinegar enhances the flavors, offering a tantalizing taste experience. This simple yet profound dish transforms the ordinary into something extraordinary, making Yongchun hotpot stand out from other street snacks.
