The results of the Quanzhou "City of Gastronomy" slogan competition were announced after an intensive 1.5-month campaign. The gold-winning slogan is "Quanzhou’s Time-Tested Heritage: Linking Worlds Through Cuisine," the silver-winning slogan is "Quanzhou’s Maritime Heritage: Binding Worlds Through Flavors," and the bronze-winning slogan is "Quanzhou’s Maritime Culinary Legacy: A Bond Across Borders." The competition received over 10,000 submissions from 1,750 participants across 30 provinces, including contributions from a wide range of people, from students to a 90-year-old man in Dehua who mailed in his handwritten slogan. After a rigorous selection process, 33 winning slogans were chosen.
